Had the baked eggs and it was delicious. Nice and cozy spot for a solo lunch! Not too crowded which I appreciated.

We really enjoyed our first experience at The Smile for early Saturday breakfast. It's a little spot in Soho but they had plenty of seating for parties of all sizes. The wait staff was very nice and attentive and the food was awesome. We had the French toast and house made granola with milk and both were fantastic. The French toast had an excellent charr on it. I'd recommend this spot and would love to go back one day!

I kept passing this place on my way to work and was dying to stop in for dinner because the outdoor patio looks so cute! I made reservations on the patio but my party of 3 wound up sitting indoors (only because my friend wanted to). No problem though, the inside was just as cute and not crowded so we enjoyed a leisurely dinner and coffee at the table by the window. Our server was very sweet, in fact, everyone who worked there seemed to be very kind/courteous, which made up for them sometimes disappearing for a while. We weren't in any rush, so it was cool. The food is simple, but delicious. Fresh ingredients cooked so elegantly as to not lose any flavoring. Really quality produce too, which doesn't go unnoticed in salads and sides. We all loved each dish we had and ending with cappuccino was the perfect way to complete our experience here. If you're a super picky eater, this might not be the spot for you. The menu doesn't have a thousand options. But if you just like good, simple, high quality food prepared by a chef who truly puts some thought into the dishes served, I highly recommend The Smile.

This used to be one of my absolute favorite brunch spots, but I was a little let down when I came this weekend for brunch. When I went to check in with the host, she nor a waiter walked me to my table; instead, the host just described where to find it and sent me off, which felt a bit awkward. I reserved a table in the AmEx village outdoor area, which was small but well designed in terms of COVID precautions. There were 4 individual sections, 1 table per section, that were each enclosed on 3 sides and had curtains that could close. There was also a heater on the ceiling. They did have some outdoor sidewalk dining as well. My waiter was really friendly and helpful. I had a decaf latte which was good. I then split the waffle and avocado toast w/ a poached egg for my meal. Both were good but not outstanding. I think their food used to be outstanding, so it seems like it has gone downhill a bit. However, I still think it was worth going to, I just may not go far out of my way to come back.

The line is just getting longer and longer during the weekend. The wait for two people at Sunday noon is 45 min! The staple dish for me is seasonal vegetable + quinoa + avocado. I really want to know how they make a bunch of veggies taste so good!

The space was great and so was the service. I believe I ordered the braised brisket and it was delicious!! The meat was tender and juicy, the couscous underneath was a great addition, and the sauce was amazing! The sauce was lemony and the perfect addition. I want an entire bottle of it. The veg on top gave the dish a lighter feel and it was lovely.
